Lucy Liu is an American actress voice actress director producer and vocalist. An attractive and intelligent actor, she is an example to numerous Asian actors who aspire to make it big in Hollywood. Her initial success was enhanced when she appeared in a few popular show. There, she portrayed the villainous Ling Woo. After a sudden surge in popularity, the actress got roles on the big screen like Shanghai Noon and Charlie's Angels. Then, she gave an an excellent performance in Quentin Tarantino Kill Bill Volume 1 as Japanese crime-lord O Ren Ishii. She also played leading parts in box office flops like Rise: Blood Hunter. Later, she became a voice actress for animated movies, such as Kung Fu Panda. Mia Mason from Cashmere Mafia was an unimportant role which did not have any effect. Southland - a critically acclaimed crime drama - helped establish Liu as an actress of the future. Liu has a lot of care when choosing her roles to ensure she isn't a victim of stereotypes. Though she has embraced the roots of her family, she hasn't let them limit her as an artist.
