Kelly Clarkson (American singer/songwriter) is a popular American after winning American Idol's debut season. Her win was not only hugely successful however, it also secured her a recording contract for multiple albums from RCA Records 19 Recordings & S Records. She has since released numerous studio albums. 3 of these made it to the US Billboard 200 chart, while others narrowly missed it. She's among the most popular performers to emerge from American Idol. She began to experiment with themes and music as her success was growing. Due to her distinctiveness and talent in the field of singing, she was praised by reviewers and was awarded a couple of prestigious award. In particular, she's won the Grammy Award three times. In addition to her work in the field of music, she has also been featured on film and television. She is also the writer of the novel for children called River Rose and the Magical Lullaby as well as a member of numerous charitable organisations.
