Dolly-Parton
Dolly Parton escaped the struggles that shaped her life at an early age through her imaginative and creative imagination. Her songs were written before she knew how to read and write. The first time she picked up a guitar was when she was just 8 years old and began singing on a Knoxville Tenn radio station at the age of eleven. Gold Band Records is a small label that is independent. She made a name for herself locally while still at high school, but always dreamed of having a bigger stage. In the exact day that she graduated from the high school in 1964. Dumb Blonde was her first record to chart on Monument Records. Porter Wagoner had been looking for a female singer to perform on his show syndicated by him at this point. Parton joined Grand Ole Opry 1969 after having signed to RCA Records. However, it wasn't until 1974 when she made the decision to quit Wagoner's show because the success of her solo albums including Joshua Coat, Many Colors and Jolene had outstripped their collaborative efforts. Following their breakup, Parton wrote the song I Will Always Love You for Wagoner and it climbed to Number. For the first time, in 1974.
